Attend a Career Event
One of the most effective ways to expand your professional network is to attend Career & Professional Development events hosted year-round. From career fairs to UNCG’s signature event, the Annual Etiquette Dinner, these are opportunities to learn and apply new job search skills and even meet with potential employers.

Connect with recruiters all in one location with multiple career fairs held throughout the school year. Fairs include part-time, full-time and internship, education and health career opportunities.
Take the opportunity to hone your skills in specific areas of your career search, including leveraging your LinkedIn profile or implementing an effective internship search.
Spartan alumni are a wonderful resource – both as possible employers as well as supportive coaches. Attend a UNCG alumni networking event to make connections that last beyond graduation.
Job opportunities can present themselves in many settings, including over a lunch or dinner. The UNCG Annual Etiquette Dinner is held to give you practical experience with negotiating a job interview over a meal. The event includes a five-course formal dinner with a presentation on business dining etiquette.
