About the Region and Getting Here

Greensboro is the third largest city in North Carolina and is located in the Triad area of the state. Learn more about what makes our region so special as well as find accommodations to meet your needs. The Gate City Boulevard and Friendly Center areas are the closest to campus, followed by the Wendover area and then the airport area.

Need a Flight? The Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI) is about 15 minutes from campus (about 10 miles).


Campus Buildings


Leonard J. Kaplan Center for Wellness (Fall and Spring Career & Internship Fairs)
1301 W. Gate City Blvd, Greensboro

Parking for the Fall & Spring Career Fairs is at UNCG Park & Ride, 1720 W. Gate City Blvd. You will park here and take a shuttle to the Kaplan Center. No parking is available at the Kaplan Center. More information is provided in your career fair instructions.


Elliott University Center – Career & Professional Development Office (Tabling, Smaller Events, Part-Time Job Fair, Health Professions Graduate School Fair)
507 Stirling St, Greensboro

Parking is at the Walker Parking Deck, 506 Stirling St. You will exit the Walker Parking Deck via the 3rd floor and cross Stirling St, walking toward the Elliott University Center, a large rectangular building with a round top. Career & Professional Development is located on the ground floor (Chick-fil-A is beside us). The Cone Ballroom is located on the first floor.

  • Print Works Bistro | 702 Green Valley Rd | Located in the Proximity Hotel, reservations suggested.
